Adaptive two-stage bargaining process resource allocation scheme in layer 1 VPN

This paper proposes an Adaptive Two-Stage Bargaining Process Resource allocation Scheme for the L1-VPN (Virtual Private network) based cooperative communication networks. In the considered system, the layer 1 virtual private network (L1-VPN) framework allows clients to directly provision their own services without employing expensive infrastructures. There are two resource management models, dedicated and shared. The L1-VPN with resource limitation is willing to seek cooperative relaying only if the resource achieved through cooperation is not lower than that achieved without cooperation by demanding the same amount of resource. So, an improved bargaining process is proposed in this paper to solve resources allocation problem. We formulate this L1-VPN fair resource sharing problem as an Adaptive Two-Stage Bargaining Process Scheme (ATSBP). The ATSBP results in shared model are fair and efficiency in that all VPNs could experience better performance than if they work in another rule.
