Autonomous Platform for Optimizing Sensor Data Acquisition Efficiency

Sensor Data Acquisition (DA) is an essential task for running various sensor-based systems. The efficiency of data acquisition from sensors and IoT devices often becomes an issue, consuming processing resource and performance overhead. In this paper, we present a software platform for autonomously determining the optimal data acquisition scheme. The net benefit of applications built with our platform includes (1) efficient acquisition of sensor measurement, (2) reduced resource consumption, and (3) continuous optimization of DA efficiency. © 2019 IEEE.
