박목월시의 기독교의식
초록
Pak Mokwol, who produced works based on Korean native sentiment, is predominant in the history of poems of Korea as a lyricpoet. However, his poets after the middle period of his career are written on the basis of Christian view on the world and that view provides an important basis to his poetic imagination. Therefore, what became to feature his poets are traditional lyricism and imported thoughts. However, study on Pak Mokwol mainly conducted on the former. People have begun to turn their attentions on the latter since1980s. Various aspects of Christianity in the poet were addressed but yet there was no concrete approach to the essence of Christianity such as the sense of guilt or will for rescue. In this article, the sense of guilt is mainly featured, which has been neglected for a long time. As Christian, the poet had clear concept of the original sin and he also had the idea that a human being must get through the pain given as the price of one’s sin. Not only that, he believed a human being can be rescued by offering one’s life to the disposition of Providence. Such spirit of his poet reached the peak in the latter period of his career. Given his journey in poetry, Pak Mokwol can beconsidered as a poet who accepted the traditional belief of the Christianity in his poet most intactly.
