국내 문화관광축제의 효율성 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of 29 cultural tourism festivals held continuously from 2015 to 2017 using the DEA model, identify the causes of inefficient festivals, suggest improvement plans, and provide a benchmarking reference group in operation and quantitative target scores. As a result of the study, first, Six festivals in 2015 and five in 2016 and 2017 were analyzed as efficient festivals among domestic cultural and tourism festivals. Second, there are 15 festivals that correspond to IRS, and there are 55 festivals in total which correspond to DRS, indicating that there is a need to improve the operation methods of the cultural tourism festival, rather than expanding the size of the festival. Third, among the reference groups, the Jindo Miracle Sea Road festival was held 20 times in 2015 and 2016, and Jarasum jazz festival was held 21 times in 2017. The implication of this study is to suggest a strategic direction to enhance the qualitative growth and competitiveness of domestic culture tourism festivals by suggesting a methodology to evaluate objectively the performance of culture tourism festival.
