This study investigates the success story of Cretec which is the most competitive firm in the industrial tool industry, in terms of the firm’s management philosophy. Cretec has grown to the best firm in its industry, because it has consistently accumulated customers’ trust based on the philosophy of responsible management. Responsible management also lead Cretec to be the firm fulfilling the corporate social responsibility. Currently, Cretec is recognized as the eco-friendly firm pursuing shared growth as well as the most competitive firm in the industry. The success case of Cretec provides insights that conducting corporate social responsibility can not only improve the society but also strengthen the competency of the firm.
