Study on the vocalization duration of english speakers in Korean speaking

With Korean Wave, the number of foreigners trying to enter and reside as well as to learn Korean language is increasing. However, as Korean language has very unique letter structure and phonation features, many English natives are going through difficulties in learning. In this research, it examines phonation time through characteristics of syllables in English and Korean to solve those difficulties occurring to English natives from the difference in letter structure and phonation features during their Korean studies. © 2017 International Information Institute.
