The mobile inspector for detecting installed illegal android applications using fingerprinting

As the use of smart devices based on the Android platform has increased, the market scale of Android Apps has grown. While smart devices such as smart phones, tablet PCs, vehicle devices, and home appliances are widely used, the Apps installed on the devices may have institutional and technical problems in terms of their copyright protection. For this reason, the use of illegal Apps is rapidly increasing. In this paper, we propose a technique for detecting illegal Apps and tracking illegal App distributors using fingerprinting on various smart devices based on the Android platform. In addition, we propose a technique for various Android platforms without the need for a cable connection and experiment its compatibility. © 2014 International Information Institute.
