Standardization of semiconductor IP coding, evaluation, specification, and registration

In system-on-chip (SoC) design, intellectual property (IP) integration is quite difficult due to compatibility and interoperability problems. Also it is difficult to find out proper IP to meet his/her design specification in IP exchange market. In this paper, some standardized guidelines - IP Coding, IP Evaluation, IP Specification, and IP Registration are proposed to help IP integration in SoC design. These guidelines are very helpful and effective in IP integration, and it will contribute to semiconductor industry significantly.
