Protection mechanism of user privacy based on key assignment and trust level in social network service environments

The social networking service (SNS) users upload their information to the sites under the limited information protection measures. Therefore, the unauthenticated user can gather the information without owner's permission. In this paper, we propose a privacy protection mechanism in SNS service. Our mechanism has three main parts such as classification of user information, key segmentation and key distribution protocol. These privacy protection mechanisms not only can provide a safe SNS environment while sharing information but also protect your privacy from the malicious users. © 2014 International Information Institute.
