Location-Based Information sharing system using Social Network Service in the mobile environment

Improvement of network takes a role as 'a place for communication' between people beyond a space simply for gathering of information. Recently, SNS (Social Network Service) shows that human's basic need for playing and talking with others is focused in the world. And LBS (Location-Based Service) is an one of the service that provides with various life opportunities and conveniences like improving quality through location information, such as Wi-Fi and GPS. This paper suggests an application to combine SNS and LBS based on Android mobile platform. By using smart phone which is personal mobile information equipment, it combines location information with user information and SNS so that the service can be created. It also maximizes sharing and gathering of information via twit based on locations of friends. This proposed system is aimed to show the mobile network identity more conveniently and actively. ©2013 International Information Institute.
