대학생들의 스포츠 동아리 활동 유·무가 감각추구에 미치는 영향

초록

The purpose of this research was to closely examine whether or not sport club activities have effects on sensation seeking on the subject of university students. In order to achieve such objective, total 500 sample students were selected using stratified cluster sampling method. Among all, 250 were enrolled in sport clubs within the universities and another 250 were not enrolled in any clubs including sport clubs. Among the total 500 respondents, except 48 with partially missing answers and 60 non-participants, the data of total 393 respondents including 202 who were enrolled in sport clubs and 190 who were not enrolled in any sport clubs were finally analyzed. To analyze the data collected, statistical techniques, such as Descriptive Statistics, Reliability Analysis, Independent-sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA were used, and as for difference verification between individual groups in relation to significant results, Scheffe's post hoc test was conducted. As a result of examination on whether or not sport club activities have effects on sensation seeking through the method and procedures for the above objective, it was concluded as following: First, the difference of sensation seeking depending on whether or not sport club activities have effects on sensation seeking shows that the participant group has the higher average and that statistically significant differences were found in all lower factors. Second, the analysis on how background variables of participation in sport club activities influence on sensation seeking presents that experiences and frequency of activities do not have an influence. The level of technique shows a statically significant difference only in sensation seeking and fatigue sensitiveness of lower factors.
