Development and Validation of Metacognitive Learning Strategy Test

초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a test to measure the metacognitive learning strategy of university students. Through the analysis of previous studies, the concept of 'metacognitive learning strategy' was defined, the components factors were derived, and the content validity was confirmed by experts. Participants in this study were 587 university students, and data were collected through online questionnaires and statistically processed using SPSS WIN 25.0 and AMOS WIN 22.0 programs. The appropriateness of the sample of KMO(Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin) was confirmed and Barlett's sphere formation test was performed. Exploratory factor analysis was performed by the principal axis decomposition method and oblimin rotation. A confirmatory factor analysis was performed with the maximum likelihood, and the fitness indexes such as IFI, TLI, CFI, and RMSEA were used. convergent validity, discriminant validity, and cross validity were verified. The final metacognitive learning strategy test consisted of 10 components and total of 51 items. And the total reliability was Cronbach α .961. The ‘metacognitive learning strategy test’ developed in this study is a test with reliability and validity, and so it can be used for the development of gifted education curriculum the measurment of student’s metacognitive learning strategy.
