초록

Sm/Sr co-doped K0.52Na0.48NbO3 (KNN-Sm-xSr) has been examined as an innovative multifunctional ferroelectric photochromic material that simultaneously exhibits piezoelectric, photochromic (PC), and photoluminescence (PL) properties. Sr/Sm co-doping led to an increase in the piezoelectric coefficient (d33) from 80 (pure KNN) to 107 pC/N (x = 0.005), induced by introduction of the polymorphic phase boundary at room temperature. In addition, the coloration contrast significantly increases under near-ultraviolet irradiation. This PC behavior resulted in improved modulation of PL intensities, reaching up to 75 % after 16 min of 380 nm irradiation. Furthermore, the reduction in PL was repeatedly recovered by thermal treatment. These results highlight the promising prospects of KNN-Sm-xSr as a versatile material for applications requiring simultaneous control of piezoelectric, PL, and PC functionalities.
