초록

The grammatical form such as an article that specifically determines a noun does not exist in Korean sentence. The determination is essential for noun in sentence. Therefore, it is indirectly determined by postposition, aspect, and modality in Korean sentence. But these grammatical forms are not one-to-one correspondent with determining contents. It is determined by the construction of those. Finally, the determined meaning of noun is related with the speaker’s perception of the described situation. For example, the completive aspect assigns reality to described situation, which gives the referentiality to sentence, and specificity to the noun as the subject and the object. In this study, the determing contents are classified into specific reference, non-specific reference, universal generic, and existential generic. And they are composed by the construction of postposition, aspectual elements, modality in a sentence.
