정호승의 시에 나타난 예수의 심상--시선집 ＂서울의 예수＂를 중심으로

초록

Chung Ho-seung is a poet in the 1970's. He brings a selection of poems, Jesus in Seoul into the world in 1982 which is subjected to military pressure. In these poems, his imagination brings 'Jesus' to a focus. The imagery of Jesus has three collateral images, 'a snowman' in darkness, 'Jesus' in Seoul(or 'Jesus' as poet), 'a boy' in a passage. 'a snowman' have a strong will, and symbolize a prognosticator. 'Jesus' is a manifestation of charity. 'a boy' in a passage receive 'Jesus' education, train himself in the world. Our critic call upon a poet to cope with the situation without variation. But poets must be apposed to the problem with a marked individuality. Chung Ho-sung induces Jesus in his poems, give expression to him a man of charity with his own originality. In this regard, he rewarded with good fruits in christian literary.
